It is never easy, being the one walking with a picture of Maeghan on my shirt instead of pushing her in a stroller, but I hold my head high as I know I am doing something for Maeghan. She sees me, she encourages me, she cheers me on as she is a part of that great cloud.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of
witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1
I also feel it is good for us to do something as a family for my earthly children. It is not easy to have a sister, but never get to see her or touch her. When we walk with her name and picture on our shirts she is there in more of a physical way. Billy and Rebecca can really feel like Maeghan's big brother and big sister - they need that!
